Call for volunteers for CHBAMHA Safety Coordinator

The role of the Association Safety Coordinator has become vacant for the 2022-23 season.

The role of the Association Safety Coordinator and team Safety Representatives will continue for the 2022-23 season.  The role of the Safety Coordinator will be evolving to include:

Illness awareness (including Covid-19); focus on player safety and providing safe spaces on the rink and in the dressing room (e.g., Universal Code of Conduct (https://sportintegritycommissioner.ca/uccms); and

education and support for the two deep dressing room supervision rule.

This Coordinator position works closely with the Association’s Risk Manager. The Safety Coordinate will need to take the Hockey Canada Safety Course and have a Criminal Records Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.
