Central Minor Hockey League 2022-2023 Format

 CMHL 2022-2023 Season Format 

All divisions will play 24 regular season games except U18A with 25 games.
U18A has 6 teams in the divison and will follow a 5 round schedule.
 
 
 U11AA     24 Regular season games
 
 U11A       24 Regular season games
 
 U11B       24 Regular season games
 
 U13AA     24 Regular season games
 
 U13A       24 Regular season games
 
 U13B       24 Regular season games
 
 U15AA    24 Regular season games
 
 U15A       24 Regular season games
 
 U15B       24 Regular season games
 
 U18AA    24 Regular season games
 
 U18A       25 Regular season games
 
All regular season schedules should be completed by Feb 12 at the latest. 
 
There will be a single elimination bracket for all divisions to determine which teams will represent the league in provincial qualifying. Seedings for those brackets will be determined by the regular season standings and be played from February 13th-19th, 2023 using 'first available ice". We will then run our league playoffs from February 20th-March 31st, 2023 and then host our Day of Champions on the last weekend in March or first week of April. 
 
 All rescheduling of games for any reason must be requested through our ice scheduler only   (tournaments, weather cancellation, etc). 
Arrangements made independantly between teams will not be accepted as there are often factors that may not be known.

Sunday October 30th from 7:30-8:30 PM - via Google Meet  https://meet.google.com/aii-khuv-vve .
 
This season's annual Safety Representative information session will be hosted by Risk Manager Scott Graham and association Safety Representative Darcie Stokes. 
Topics will include new roles and responsibilities. All team Safety Representatives are required to attend.
***For teams that have not yet selected or appointed a Safety Rep, the Head Coach or team Manager must attend. 
 
Safety Reps that have not received an invite to the meeting, please send an e-mail to riskmanagement@chbawings.org to be added to the list.

The Joe Committee

 The Joe Committee is Looking for You!!! 

The Joe LaMontagne Memorial March Break Tournament is one of the largest tournaments in Atlantic Canada, hosting 150+ teams, playing 300+ games in 9 days, on five ice surfaces.

To host a tournament of this size requires a lot of time, effort, and dedication on the committee, parents and sponsors. In fact, "The Joe'' is in many ways an undertaking of the entire Cole Harbour community. Forty years of volunteerism is something our community continues to be proud of! 

Cole Harbour, we are calling on you as we need your help once again. We are looking to fill the following roles: 

  • Assistant Ice Scheduler
  • Rink Manager & Runner Coordinator
  • Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator

For all those interested please send an email to thejoechair@gmail.com, with the role they are interested in, and why they want to be part of The Joe committee.

Team Jersey Pick-Up

 Team Jersey & Socks Pick-Up 

The Equipment Manager will be available this Thursday Oct. 20th between 6:30-7:30pm at the equipment cage for a Coach or Manager to pick up their team jersey sets and socks. ***Only complete team sets will be issued. Each player will be issued their jersey by the team Head Coach.

The doors in the back will be open to facilitate loading directly into vehicles.
