The damage deposit is to specifically cover damage caused by your player at off ice events or if the player fails to return their own jersey after it is left in their care. An example of an off ice event would be wearing the jerseys to the CHBA day with the Mooseheads and the jersey gets lost or destroyed.
All game related damage is to be brought to the manager as soon as it happens so it can be noted, fixed if possible or replaced. You are not responsible for damage that happens during a game or damage/loss which results while in the care of a jersey carrier. Your cheque will not be cashed if the jersey carrier loses or damages the jersey while in their care.
This year it is mandated that each team have two jersey carriers in order to protect and prolong the life of the jerseys. Each team is required to have one carrier for home jerseys and one carrier for away jerseys with both sets of jerseys being brought to all games. Having two separate carriers will share the responsibility between two separate families and it will ensure the players always have a jersey to wear even under unforeseen circumstances.
