The Tom Duffey Camp will be held December 22 and 23 at the Halifax Forum/Civic Arena Complex as well as groups at St. Margarets Center.
Ages include Timbits 1, Timbits 2, Novice, Atom, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget. Emphasis is on individual skills and high tempo. The Timbits 1 and Timbits 2 groups we will offer Power Skating schools with Marie Bowness as well as Puck Handling and Shooting schools for Novice to Midget age players.

Developmental Weekend
Hockey Nova Scotia has announced that the annual Development Weekend will be held November 1st and November 2nd 2008. Since 2003, Development Weekend has grown across the province. DW allows Minor Hockey Associations to focus solely, within a short period of time on providing development opportunities to all of their members. Associations do not schedule games for the weekend and instead conduct several activities aimed at improving the player, coach, official, administrator, trainer or parent. We'll be seeing lots of CHBA coaches as well as some invitees. Our off-ice sessions featuring Gaetan Tremblay (Dartmouth Subways), Liz Cole and Mary-Lou Tallon, certified fitness instructors, will be targeted towards female and house league players.
